Rooted in Resilience
Non-Residential Program
Our Non-Residential Program
At Selah Creek, we believe resilience is something that can be nurtured, strengthened, and grown.
Rooted in Resilience is our non-residential program designed to walk alongside single mothers who are ready to build stability, pursue healing, and create lasting change for themselves and their children.
Through personalized coaching, financial stewardship, life skills development, and Christ-centered encouragement, participants gain practical tools and steady support as they move toward independence. Mothers meet regularly with Selah Creek staff to set goals, overcome barriers, and establish healthy rhythms.
This program is built on partnership, accountability, and dignity. Our goal is to not just address immediate needs but to help moms begin to dream again, set meaningful goals, and take confident steps toward a thriving future.
When a mother becomes rooted in resilience, her children benefit for generations to come.
Our Services
- Bi-weekly Coaching Support: Participants meet twice a month with Selah Creek staff for coaching check-ins to help establish and work toward both short-term and long-term goals. Coaching may include building a realistic plan for stability and growth, identifying barriers and problem-solving next steps, creating routines and accountability, support with decision-making and healthy life choices, mentorship, encouragement, and guidance.
- Bi-weekly Goal Sheets (Support + Accountability): All participants complete bi-weekly goal sheets in addition to bi-weekly coaching. Bi-weekly goal sheets help participants set clear goals for the week, track progress on long-term goals, reflect on wins and challenges, build consistency and healthy habits, stay focused with support and encouragement.
- Access to Selah Creek Programming & Classes: Non-residential participants are invited to participate in Selah Creek programming, which may include classes such as financial literacy and budgeting, parenting education, healthy relationships, boundary setting, spiritual growth, emotional well-being and life skills.
- Access to Select Events & On-Site Classes: Participants may have access to certain Selah Creek events and on-site classes, depending on scheduling, capacity, and availability.
- Tangible Resource Support: When available, Selah Creek may offer tangible resources such as baby clothes, diapers and wipes. Other donated essentials (as available).
